Day 01 Arrival at Delhi
The Rajasthan tour begins with your arrival at the Delhi airport where the Tangent Inc representatives are waiting to pick them up and take them to the hotel. There is proper conveyance available which makes the journey both relaxing and comfortable. There is nothing to do on the day one except having an enjoyable experience. There is an overnight stay at the accommodations which have been booked prior to the arrival.
Days 02 Delhi sightseeing followed by journey to Jaipur(260 KM 05 hrs)
The morning starts with a sumptuous breakfast which is followed by a visit to Shanti Van which is the cremation site of Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of independent India. Then visitors go Raj Ghat where the remains of the Father of the Nation have found repose. Also in the Delhi tour itinerary of the morning there is a sightseeing tour of the city where you come across the biggest mosque of India, the Jama Masjid. Then there is the majestic Red Fort. Drive through Chandni Chawk; visit Qutub Minar, India Gate, the Humayun Tomb and the new age construction the Lakshmi-Narayan Temple.
After this simply drive on to Jaipur which is an approximately five hours drive. Reach the hotel and get rejuvenated with a comfortable stay and a good night’s sleep.
Days 03 Sightseeing in Jaipur
Have breakfast in the morning and then prepare yourself for a visit to the Amber Fort in Jaipur. This is the fort which was the ancient seat of power in the olden times. You are going to be filled with awe looking at the Sheesh Mahal which glitters with numerous mirrors. Besides the Amber Fort, other places to see include City Palace, the Ram Niwas Garden and the Observatory. During the trip back to the hotel look at the beautiful Hawa Mahal which is a marvel of ancient architecture.
This draining tour is followed by an overnight stay at the accommodations provided.
Jaipur, the Pink City is the capital of Rajasthan and one of the very first planned cities of India. There are lots of sightseeing places here which enthrall the visitors with their rich history and the indigenous culture of this state. This city is around 260 years old and was built by the erstwhile ruler Maharaja Jai Singh, who was also a noted astronomer.
Day 04 – Drive to Fatehpur Sikri & Agra(233 K.M. – 05 hours)
Followed by breakfast at Jaipur go on to Fatehpur Sikri. This is a city which was built by Moghul emperor Akbar during latter part of 16th century. It literally means the City of Victory. Built as the capital of the day, this grandiose dream had to be ultimately abandoned and the area vacated due to poor supply of drinking water. However the old structures and towers still remain turning it into a World Heritage site, declared by UNESCO.
Later on drive up to Agra followed by an overnight stay at a hotel there.
Day: 05 Sightseeing at Agra followed by return journey to Delhi and flight back home
After breakfast at Agra, visit the magnificent Taj Mahal the grandest testament to true love. It is one among the Seven Wonders of the World. This was built over a period of 17 years from the scratch. Around 20,000 people labored to bring this vision of Emperor Shah Jahan to life. Visit the Red Fort also which is another evidence of the emperor’s love for building unique facades. It is constructed on the banks of Yamuna River completely using red colored sandstone.
After witnessing the architectural grandeur of Agra it is time to drive on to Delhi to catch your flight back home.
